I.          Call to Order 7:05 pm

II.        Attendance Sheet passed, attached

III.       Minutes (Tanya)
            Topical reading of the March 4th minutes.
            Motion to approve, Mindy.  Seconded by Kevin.  Minutes approved.

IV.       Treasurer’s Report (Beckie, not present)

            A.        Director’s Reports
                        1.         Choir Director, Jackie Backus (absent, sick)
                        2.         Band Director, Aaron Ruff
·         Review of Retreat success
·         New Drumline gear assembled
·         Daffodil Parade, Saturday April 13
Chaperones needed (signup sheet passed)
Call time for OHS, 7:30 am
Call time for OMS, tbd
·         May 11, OHS Concert Band Large Group Festival at Spanaway Lake
Registration $135 due this week, transportation covered by ASB
May 18, OMS Concert Band Large Group Festival at Spanaway Lake.
Registration $135, due next week, seeking ASB to cover transportation
Motion by Michelle to pay $270 to cover registration fees.  Seconded by Andrea. Motion approved with all in favor.
Aaron to contact Beckie with copies of registration.
·         Upcoming events:
Chamber of Commerce
Old Soldiers Home
End of Year Concert
·         Fundraising idea for summer:  High Cedars Glow Ball Tournament
Further investigation needed.
            B.        Holiday Craft Fair (Trina)
                        Flyer and registration applications ready for printing.
                        First crafter’s deposit, check submitted to Brenda.          
            C.        Spirit wear (Brenda)
·         Cardinal design submitted by Chelsee, motion to approve this design by Trina,
Seconded by Mindy, motion approved with all in favor.  Possibly contact Chelsee to alter the design for use as Falcon for the middle school spirit wear.
·         Other items to look into:
Stadium blankets, Stadium seats, hats
            D.        Pasta Dinner Debrief (Josh, not present)

VI.       New Business (Brenda)
            A.        Nominations being accepted through April and May for VP and Secretary
            B.        The Rock, Battle of the Bands
                        Possible competition for fundraising?  Discussion.  Not interested.
            C.        Tacoma Dome Events, signup sheets passed
·         Mon, May 20- Fleetwood Mac
·         Tues, July 9- NKOTB, 98 Degrees, Boys II Men
·         Sat, Aug 31- Taylor Swift
D.        501c3 update, (Tanya)
            Contacted the IRS, our application has been assigned but has not yet been evaluated. 
            There is however a discrepancy with our address.  The address that is listed on our 501c3
            application must match the address listed on our EIN application or file a change of
            address.  IRS recommended a change of address letter, form 8822-B and fax to
(801)-620-7116
Andrea and Tanya to follow up.
