Saturday,
Dec 7th at PTR. Suzanne M. has
received some business cards of interested vendors. She will get with Trina for more information. We need 10 paid vendors by Oct 1st
or we will not be doing this.
D. Spirit-Wear
Jennifer
was working on samples, but ran into a glitch.
The thinking was that we needed to hold off on purchasing merchandise
until IRS came through. Andrea M. said
we need to go ahead and order so we have something to sell on September 15 at
the first home football game. Andrea
will get the sweatshirts ordered, gray bird on blue sweatshirt and red on
black. Bret L. made a motion to buy the
spirit wear when we know the balance of our operating budget and the Board can
make the decision of how much to spend of the $1500 approved for
purchasing. Michael M. seconded it and
it passed. Suzanne M. is also looking
into ponchos and Melanie into glow sticks to sell at the games.

It was discussed
that Therese will no longer be doing Tacoma Dome after Taylor Swift. It was agreed that Andrea and Brenda would go
to the next PTTE meeting to see how they plan to handle this situation and see
where the OPABC fits into the Tacoma Dome.
B. Proposed Operating Budget:

It
passed, only one no because he could not approve a budget that was not
balanced. I did not have the current
numbers on the budget.

Band Playing Schedule for Home Games:
Sept.
13, with Evergreen Sept.
20, with Franklin Pierce
Oct.
4 with Clover Park (Homecoming Game?) Oct
18, with Steilacoom
It was
proposed that we feed the students before the games since some of them cannot
go home to eat. This will not come out
of the operating budget, but by parent volunteers. A sign-up sheet went around.

At
the Band room. We are doing September 9th
since the first Monday is Labor Day
