Meeting Minutes for June 4, 2012.

Meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm.

Roll call: Sign in sheet passed.

Minutes for the meeting on May 5, 2012 were approved. .

Officer’s Report:

Treasurer: $695.71 from Van Halen. $20 donation from Tanya. $100 parent donation for instrument. $460 raised at Car Wash. $140 from Fox Hollow. $15.40 from Tupperware.

Committee Report:

*Fundraising: Money Tree made by Brenda. Displayed at Concerts.

*Advertising

Old Business:

* Petting Zoo. 18 children attended. Parent comments were very positive.

$270 raised by entrance fee.

Upcoming Fund raisers:

* Nickleback. Please confirm. Email will be sent out.

* Possible fundraiser at the Pumpkin Patch. Depends on Lion's decision.

Motion/2nd/Passed that we will do if Lions's do not. In October.

New Business:

* New Board Elected. Pres: Brenda; VP: Josh; Sec: Tanya; Treas: Beckie. Change takes place August 1^st.

* Andrea and Todd seeing Attorney tomorrow for 501c(3).

Other discussions:

* Aaron time: pricing out for a keyboard....looking on Craig's list for instruments.

* Soldiers Home concert. Brenda to help transport. Day after school gets out..?

* Christmas Bizarre. Trina will head committee. Motion/2nd/Passed.

* Graduation transportation. Brenda volunteers truck.

* Kathryn Spader helping Aaron write grants.

* Kevin H. donated scanner to Band.

Announcements:

* Concert Reminders... 6/6 OHS final concert... 6/11 Graduation... 6/13 OMS final concert.

* Tri-M student Store.

Next meeting: July 9^th, Fox Hollow. 6:30 Board. 7:22 General.

Change in Plans..

Unfortunately we will be having to postpone the scheduled Board/New-Elected Board Meeting as well as the regular monthly Booster Meeting that was scheduled for tonight (7/9).  We will contact you with the date/time of the meeting when we are able to nail everyone down.  Please call me if you have any questions..360-893-1418.

Meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm.

Roll call: Sign in sheet passed.

Minutes for the meeting on April 2, 2012 were approved. .

Officer’s Report:

Treasurer: $202.50 tips from VanHalen. Paid $125 for MS entrance fee/paid $130 for HS entrance fee for Large Group Festival. Jazz Fiasco shirts paid for. Sweatshirts not yet paid off.

Committee Report: No Committees.

Old Business:

* Jazz Band t-shirts have arrived. $20 per shirt.

* Sweatshirt confusion. Received wrong sweatshirts. Board made decision agreed to pay ½ price for them. Correct sweatshirts being made.

Upcoming Fund raisers:

* Car Wash May 19. Reserved. Kit secured. 10am – 2pm. Arrive at 9:30. West HS parking lot. Todd will purchase supplies at Costco. Brenda will make new signs.

* Rammstein Concert. Confirmed attendance. Reminder email will be sent.

New Business:

* Nominations. Sign-up sheet was passed again. Election at next meeting.

Other discussions:

*Aaron time.

• May 24^th. Old Soldiers Home. Therese will distribute fliers. 10 - 11
• May 27^th. Fox Hollow. 3:30-5:30pm. BBQ at Lunden's prior for band.
• Motion/2nd/Passed: To set aside $600 for repairs on instruments (Tuba/barisax..per Mr. Ruff).
• Chaperon's for MS/HS reminded. Beckie/Brenda.
• Money Tree discussed. Brenda wants to figure out.
• Jazz Festival went well. ASB covered cost of bus. We paid registration fee.
• Aaron will make new “wish list”.

Announcements:

* June 2. Musical Petting Zoo. Need OPABC presence. 11-3. $15

* June 5. 6^th grade orientation.

* June 6. Final Band Concert. OHS Pac @ 7pm. (not 6^th grade).

* June 11. Graduation.

* June 13. Beginning Band Concert. OMS 7pm
