Update.

The Sweatshirts have been ordered and will be at the printers TOMORROW.  Keeping our fingers crossed they will be ready to sell at the Basketball game on the 21st.

A quick note of thanks to those new faces (and the familiar ones, too) that showed up for our Booster Meeting tonight.  Hopefully, this will be just the beginning of our times spent together to benefit our Kids.

Orting Performing Arts Booster Club

Meeting Minutes for Nov. 8, 2010

Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm.

Roll call: Sign in sheet passed.

Minutes for the meeting on Oct. 11, 2010, were approved. .

Officer’s Report:

       Treasurer: $85 earned previous Friday.

Committee Report: None.

Old Business:

       * T-shirts were discussed. Decision made to hold off on placing order at this time.

Upcoming Fundraisers:

       * Scott will check Jan. 22 or 29^th at Eagles Hall.

       * Silent Auction items?

       * Food will be discussed at the meeting in December.

       *Moved to change the date of the Fundraiser to 12^th or 16^th of March. Seconded and Passed.

New Business:

       * Presentation by the Dance Club. Instructor provided us with a packet containing information.

       * Decision made to delay definite answer until after 501c3 is completed.

       * Middle School needs? We were presented with a "list" of items.

Other discussions:

       * Tri-fold display was being put together.

       *Further discussion on Band Retreat. Director Aaron Ruff still working out details.

       *Music ideas for Spaghetti Feed in March?

Announcements: Basketball begins Dec. 3^rd. Calendar available?

Next meeting: Dec. 6, 2010. 7pm @ OMS Band room.

       *Meeting Canceled due to illness in President’s entire family. Rescheduled for Jan.10, 2011.
