                        Orting Performing Arts Booster Club

Meeting Minutes for January 10, 2011.

Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm.

Roll call: Sign in sheet passed.

Minutes for the meeting on November 8, 2010 were approved. .

Officer’s Report:

     Treasurer: Balance $2,452.42

Committee Report: No Committees.

Old Business:

* Need Items to sell.

* Motion to purchase 25 long sleeve t-shirts. Seconded and Passed.

* Second motion to purchase Sweatshirts (8 non-hooded{2m, L, XL} - 12 hooded{5M, 5L, 3XL, 4XXL})

Upcoming Fundraisers:

* Pasta Feed. Motion for changing date to April 30, 2011. Seconded and Passed. 5-8pm.

New Business:

                   * Updated contact information through Facebook, Website and email address.

                   * Cancelled order from Old Business. Motioned to purchase 120 Mascot t-shirts.

Other discussions:

* Discussed purchasing t-shirts - Mascot - for the Band. (See New Business.)

* Students are being asked to pay $5 towards cost of shirts. Boosters are picking up the remaining balance. Extra shirts will be sold at the Daffodil Parade and so on.

* Possible Band ideas: USO - Swing Dance. Old Soldiers Home. March or later.

* Band needs: Rim savers, gong, chimes Bass drum rim.

* TRI-M Membership $100/$20 yr.

Announcements:

                   * Upcoming Basketball games.

                   * Volunteers for table

Next meeting: February 7, 2011 at 7:00pm. Held at OHS in the band room.
