Meeting Minutes for August 1, 2011

Meeting was called to order at 7:02pm.

Roll call: Sign in sheet passed.

Minutes for the meeting on June 6, 2011 were approved. .

Officer’s Report:

Treasurer: $4000, something in account. Todd will email break-down.

Committee Report: Committees were assigned to assist with upcoming Pasta Feed on Sept. 24^th as follows:

• Fund-raising: Trina H and Crystal W
• Advertising: Tanya N and Sandi G
• Kitchen: Kevin and Tudie Senf

Old Business:

* Tacoma Dome Concessions. Members advised to wait on liquor license until later. Lots of Volunteers.

Upcoming Fund-raisers:

• Sept. 24^th Pasta Feed at Eagle's Hall.
• Tacoma Dome.
• Volunteers for Football Games:
  • 9/9: Jennifer and ?
  • 9/30: Tanya and ?
  • 10/14: Mindy/ Melanie or Keith
  • 10/28: Mindy and ?

New Business:

• Volunteers for VP: Kevin H and Volunteers for Secretary: Trina H

• Motion/2nd/Passed to place Order for Sweatshirts and raise price to $30. Andrea will place order with Laura Fischer tonight.
• Motion/2nd/Passed in favor of purchasing a Table and a cover for use at Fund-raising. Todd will purchase and be reimbursed. Melanie E. has offered to put our Birds and Initials on the Cover.
• Motion/2nd/Passed to cut cost on Seat Cushions. $10 or 2 for $15

Other discussions:

• Still waiting for information on whom to pay regarding $20 transportation fee from June's OHS Band trip.

• Aaron was not here to discuss Discretionary fund. Tabled.

Announcements:

* September 9^th first home Football game.

Next meeting: Aug. 29^th and Sept.12, 2011

Tonight's OPABC meeting is being held at the OHS Band Room.  We are starting at 7pm.  Tonight we will be having elections for the new VP and the Secretary.  Volunteer while you still can....  We will also preview our new Gear!  Come on down!
