Joint effort of Band and Choir?
Jackie Backus- Due to the Choir’s two Variety
Shows in February, the effort for Choir unfortunately
would be too burdensome.

Feedback discussion of Winter Concert
Lighting: created atmosphere, set the mood, reduced
noise from children, reduced movement/activity as lights were dimmed less people were
apt to move about…
Sound quality: Band shell can be
used to direct sound toward audience instead of into the curtains and up into the rafters. Risers can be built to raise each row of the band so as to be better seen and
heard.
Bret L. to obtain bids for
risers.
Set Changes: considering better way to transition…
Instrument Needs:
Baritone presented, broken slides…
Description of cost of similar quality
replacement and mid-quality replacement.
