·            Robin from OPS meet the MS band to be the administration person for the daffodil parade.  None of the OMS administrators were able to help out that day.  The OMS kids were also not able to get back into the building after the parade very quickly.

·            Retreat was 2 days later.  It was very good.  The clinicians had a positive interaction with the students.  Playing as a group really jumped up.  We are still short 2 sponsorships for the retreat.  Private funds were made available during the meeting.

·            Last Fundraiser of the year.  This fundraiser has the potential to close all the bare bones instrumental holes that we have.  The fundraiser is selling Route 66 cards and nationally shipped card for coffee.   We need 2 new tuba’s, French horns and percussion still has wholes.  Mike M. will donate one French horn.

·            When is a good night to have a parent meeing night to try and get more parent involvement.  We decided May 5th at 7:00 pm and we will try and include 5th grade parents.

·            April 26th is band camp for 3-5th graders from 9:00am – 1:30pm cost $5.00 and they need to bring a sack lunch.

·            Large group competition for MS is next week.

·            HS Large group competition is May 10th.

·            End of the Year concert is June 4th and rehearsal will be June 2nd from 4-7.  Dinner will be served.

·            Graduation is June 10th everyone else the last day of school is June 18th.

B.                  Pasta Dinner: Everyone loved the way we stepped it up.  Aaron now has 55 entries who want to do solo’s for next year.  No one got the 2 different times for dinner.  We now want to have it as one event.  Dinner and Dance.  We will raise the price and have it as a 3 hour event.  We can also bring in Jazz bands from other schools to perform.  We want to rent the kitchen for 2 hours too.

C.                  Tacoma Dome shows Done:  Bull Riders and George Strait.  There was a concern about the tips.  It was not made clear how this was to be done.  We understood that the tips would be divided 3 ways only.  Then at the last show at the last minute we were asked to divide them in percentage of how many people each group had show up.  This was discussed and then decided that we would just divide the tips 3 ways only.
