Pasta Feed Meeting

Meeting Minutes for Pasta Feed Meeting. September 19, 2011
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm.
Roll call: Sign in sheet passed.


Committee Report:
*Fund-raising: Silent Auction Items and starting bids: Tanning items ($25)/ Los Pinos (TBD), Around the Corner Cafe ($10), Quilt ($50), Scratch Tickets ($?), Hair Hype ($10), Nail certificate ($15), Man Basket ($?), Jazz band private event ($100), digital picture frame ($20). Trina and Roxy will set up.
*Advertising: Tanya has signs to wave, Andrew L, Melanie will pass fliers, Kristie will repost information on Facebook.
* Entertainment: Mr. Scannell will perform, Jazz band will 2 prformances, possible quartets. Will need transportation assistance from the OHS: Andrew L., Aaron will MC event.
* Kids: Cleaning and bringing cookies.
* Kitchen: Decision was made to purchase most food items through the supplier for Camp Arnold. Based on 300 people cost will be approximately $1.80 per head (this cost includes 3 sauces, noodles, salad and dressing, bread).
*Items we have: 250 snow cone cups, 100 sm. Napkins, 100 spoons, 50 boats (from Scott), 754 napkins, 293 forks, 8 spoons, 274 plates (from Todd).
*Need: Lemonade (Todd will pick up). Hand stamp (Todd and Brenda). Cooler (Trina and Melanie).


Other discussions:
* Aaron announced to the Group the need for $375 to cover the cost of 13 -16 kistraveling to Spokane for a musical experience with Joshua Redman and the Whitmore Band. This will be an overnight trip. Motion/2nd/Passed in favor of Support. Some members were unsure, possible further discussion needed.

Announcements:
* We can get into the Eagles Hall @ Noon. Everyone needs to be there by 4pm. Pasta Feed will run from 5pm – 8pm.
* Volunteers reminded of their commitments.

Meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm.

Minutes for the meeting on August 29, 2011 were approved.

Officer’s Report:
Treasurer: Game on Friday, $440 in sales. $21 donation (?).


Committee Report:
None given.

Old Business:

Upcoming Fund raisers:
*Pasta Feed. 9/24.
* Volunteers covering: Kevin S/Todd: purchasing of food. Scott: finding paper products in his garage. Trina: contacting the Bakery about desserts. Kevin H: Facebook invite. Melanie donating pasta. Deb T and Beckie: serving bowls/warmers. Andrew L. and Aaron talking to others about performance possiblilties.


New Business:
* Feeding of Band kids before game time. Some students do not have the ability to make to make it home prior to game time or have the money to purchase food at game. Tail gate party option discussed. Aaron will get a head count.

Other discussions:
* Aaron asked for $800 to go along with the money he is receiving from the PTA for new equipment. Motion made to add the $800 to amount. Seconded and Passed.


Announcements:
* 10/8 Pumpkin Fest. Band Marching.
* 10/18 OHS Band Concert 7pm.
*10/20 OMS Concert 7pm.
* Christmas Concert. Beginning of December.
